Blueberry Sauce Recipe

  This recipe was developed by Dr. Gina Mohammed in her own kitchen.
Makes about a cup (250 ml) of sauce.
  • 1 Cup / 250 ml   Wild Blueberries
  • 2 Tbsps / 60 ml   Maple Syrup or Honey
  • 1 Tbsp / 15 ml   Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tsp / 5 ml  Corn Starch (dissolved in a small amount of water)
Combine ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Then simmer 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Set aside to cool.
Serve over pancakes or cake with a scoop of vanilla or maple walnut ice cream.
